This is kind of disturbing as I used Nursery Water the entire time my daughter was on formula because I had heard it was “good” for her. Evidently this isn’t entirely true…
There is a class action lawsuit against them for false advertising. The products aren’t bad for kids but instead not necessarily as good for them as they claimed.
Here’s the lawsuit….
Defendant issued advertisements, labeling, and in store displays containing errors, misstatements, or misleading statements that Nursery helps nourish infants and toddlers and strengthens their teeth, and that several prominent health care organizations sponsored, approved or certified Nursery.
Due to this you are entitled to a certificate per household for a free one-gallon jug of either a) Nursery Water; or b) a non-fluoridated DS Waters purified water product if you purchased Nursery at any time from February 21, 2004 to date and made the decision to purchase because of the statements or information provided in advertisements, labeling, and in store displays for Nursery, including nurserywater.com.
Basically if you purchased this water in the last few years you are entitled to a coupon for a free jug of water. All you need to do is fill out a simple claim for that is online.
